Sunday Savers – Save the World, Mom

April 25th, 2010

I knew I was a mom not by the fact that I had a kid (although I did clue in pretty quickly with that one). No, it actually hit home on a day I was away from my newborn. Out at a lunch with friends, someone had a string coming off of her sweater. Out of my purse I pulled a pair of scissors, a safety pin, antiseptic (should someone cut themselves on said scissors or pin) and a new sweater. Of course this sweater was 3 to 6 month infant size, but you get the point. I could save the world (or at least fashion emergencies) just by reaching into my Mary Poppins bag. (Wonder Woman didn’t have a bag, and this is why she’s a real super hero).

How often are you called upon to save the world? A little boo boo. A big mess. Something in between.

I’ve found a few things that might quickly help with that feat, without requiring much room in your bag. So fly on, super hero. Fly on. Just don’t forget your purse.

One tiny ounce, 200+ sprays. Cleanwell All-Natural Hand Sanitizer has essential plant oils proven to kill 99.99% of germs that can make you sick. And no more losing sanitizer as it goops onto the ground or down your arm.

Just when they thought the Tide to Go was too big (huh?), they made a Mini one. Just dab and rub, and the stain won’t have a chance. I have one of these things everywhere…car, purse, other purse, that purse I only use when I go out without the child, everywhere.

The Neo To Go, once again, eliminates the goop factor and waste with a quick keychain-sized sprayer of infection protection. Before you have a chance to kiss it all better, it is.

Bug bites, check. Chapped lips, check. Anything that itches for any reason, check. First Aid Beauty Healing Stick has it covered. Literally.

How do you play Wonder Woman? Leave a comment and let me know!

Love it – I am definitely going to make a little “Super Mom” purse pack for my friend who is about to have a baby!

A tin of Smith’s Rosebud Salve is good for almost everything (I admit it, I’m addicted). Also, band-aids and lollipops – what one can’t fix, the other can :-)
Great topic. I’m on the hunt for the Cleanwell product – thanks!
