The “Boston, Get Thee To a Pool” Giveaway

July 7th, 2010

BOKX Pool at Hotel Indigo

To celebrate the beginning of my new Boston & Beyond section of EasyPeasyBlog (around town happenings, stylish people, beauty experts, local mompreneurs, etc), I’m giving away two pool passes to Newton’s Hotel Indigo’s BOKX Pool.

Normally just for guests, they’ve decided to let the public in on this incredible summer getaway. And I have two day passes for you (valued at $40), so you can lounge poolside in luxury.

Featuring an outdoor bar and oversized couches, the BOKX Pool Deck is a perfect summer escape from the city heat and the ultimate location for dining al fresco. Lunch and dinner are available poolside and private cabanas for a fee.

You know, for a busy career mom, I seem to give away a lot of lounge opportunities. So let’s get to it, shall we…

The Rules

Initial Entry: Leave a comment about your favorite poolside or oceanside spot this summer.

Bonus Entry: Like EasyPeasyBlog on Facebook by clicking here. If you’re already a fan, please let me know.

Bonus Entry: Follow EasyPeasyBlog on Twitter @cherylfenton. If you already follow, tweet about the contest.

Passes allow entrance to the pool Monday – Friday, 10am to 8pm, through Labor Day. Giveaway ends 11:59pm on July 15.

Love the beach in Nahant! Also just had a great trip to Compo Beach in Westport, CT.

  2. Shannon says:

I grew up in RI and will forever love Narragansett Beach. The picturesque Coast Guard Towers coupled with the coast line is incredible. Not to mention the best beach bar across the street, Almafi. I try to get down there at least once a month through the summer.

  3. Kaci says:

Arlington Reservoir and Wright’s Pond. Just because they are minutes from home and provide hours of activity and entertainment for my 3-year old. If I had my choice? Take me back to Bora Bora!

  4. I’m always found at the beaches in Maine, particularly Moody beach. A pool getaway for 2 sounds fab though!

  5. going to follow on facebook for a bonus too!

  6. I love Mayflower Beach on Cape Cod in Dennis. I grew up on that beach when I was little when we used to rent a house. I remember all the sand dunes and castles I would build. The water is by far the warmest in MA and the sandbars go for miles. I would spend my day laying in the warm water with my favorite Mickey Mouse suit! Ah, to be young again.

  7. Sean D says:

My favorite Oceanside hangout is my family’s house up in Wells, ME! There is something about laying in the sun on a chaise only steps to the stereo and refrigerator or to the water… Summer semester has me pent up in Boston though. Sad cats.

  8. Jack says:

Favorite little spot is Marblehead, MA just on the water at Devereaux Beach or it would have to be one of the beaches of Nahant, MA – best is Short Beach. Summer has been hot, (hello heatwave!) especially in the city. This would be the perfect spot to relax witha cocktail and yet still be in close proximity to the Bean! Looks fanastic!

  9. Susana says:

Too many favorite places too mention! I love Singing Beach in Manchester by the Sea, but my absolute fave is Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico, because it reminds me of my childhood!

  10. Michael Ratty says:

Cisco Beach on Nantucket. Was just there this weekend, the best waves around.

PS: Already a FB Fan! :-)

  11. tweeting for a bonus entry

  12. Wendy Pierce says:

So far we’ve been at Horseneck Beach in Westport, Echo Lake in Franconia, NH and Barrington Beach in RI. Don’t forget to bonus me for being a fan AND a follower!

  13. Cheryl says:

Congrats Jack, you’re the winner. I’ll be emailing you asap. Thanks to all who entered! There will be many more Boston & Beyond giveaways coming up.
