Cardiovascular exercises using a sound workout strategy plus a great nutrition program may be the best method to lose weight. Keep up the great work.

ive been trying to work out every day this month, but i change it up. i think if i really look at what i do in a day, i can find an hour to work out. but i would have to do something different every day.

and when you say 60 min, it really translates to two hours, after everything is said and done. that's just too much time to expect!

Not a chance! But I do think it also depends on intensity. So I do intense cardio for 30 minutes--but even then is a challenge to find the time consistently.

i think working out every day is also inviting injury. But the study used exercise to mean "walking or hiking, jogging, running, bicycling, aerobic exercise or dance, use of exercise machines, yoga, tennis, squash, racquetball and swimming." If you were to walk every day, not do a full on crazy workout, you should be able to avoid injury.

No way! I also think this is inviting injury. And it doesn't mention what kinds of exercise are acceptable. I don't think it's a great recommendation - notice that it's for women who don't want to watch what they eat.

The full article provides a lot more information. I think the headline on the article is terribly misleading, though, and may even discourage some women from exercising at all because it's an unrealistic goal for most.

Moderation - in eating and exercise.
